(CHANDLER, AZ - November 20, 1997) - Officials of Chandler, AZ based FieldSoft, Inc., today announced that MobileData Communications (MDC) Corporation of Phoenix, AZ signed an agreement to be the first authorized reseller of FDonScene incident command software. MDC who manufactures and sells ruggedized in-vehicle computers, can now also offer its customers a software product that was specifically designed for use on, and takes full advantage of the MDC Roadrunner features including its color touch screen.

According to FieldSoft co-founder Mark Bouchard "we knew that user friendly software was only half of the in field solution. Thus, a RoadRunner computer was the first capitol purchase that the company made after it was formed. In fact, the synergy is so important that we actually developed the software on the RoadRunner to ensure that all of the possible benefits from the hardware/software combination could be achieved. Although the software will run on any Wintel computer, I recommend that customers check out the RoadRunner before they make any hardware purchase decisions."

FieldSoft applications are used by incident commanders to manage people, resources, and events while on the scene of an emergency. The software automates most – if not all -- incident management functions formerly handled with pen and paper based worksheets, checklists or marker boards.

Mark Bouchard said that he saw the agreement as a definite plus for both companies. According to him "our software makes there hardware look good, and their hardware makes our software look good.
