FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

>FieldSoft Expands; Moves To New Offices; Continued Demand For Command Software Fuels Growth.

(CHANDLER, AZ - February 12, 1999) - Officials of Chandler, AZ based FieldSoft, Inc., today announced that it has completed a move to larger offices. The move was prompted by staff additions needed to maintain and enhance its' line of incident command software, while starting new projects to interface its applications with other technology used both on and off the incident scene. FieldSoft command products include FDonScene for the fire service, PDonScene for law enforcement and ERTonScene for private sector manufacturing facilities.

"FieldSoft could no longer meet customer demand with existing staff," according to Mark Bouchard of FieldSoft. He went on to state that "pending contracts and 'interface' work with the local and federal government agencies dictated that we bring more people on board, and increase the work area available to us." The new offices are located at 590 N Alma School Road in Chandler, Arizona.

FieldSoft applications are used by incident commanders to manage people, resources, and events while on the scene of an emergency. The software automates most – if not all -- incident management functions formerly handled with pen and paper based worksheets, checklists or marker boards.

FieldSoft was the first company to bring affordable command software to the fire service, the first to bring simple and affordable automated firefighter accountability features to the command post, and the first to create an effective touch screen user interface optimized for incident commanders. "FieldSoft needs to interface its products with computer aided dispatching (CAD) systems and other technology that promotes firefighter safety and survival," said Bouchard. He added that "Command software of and by itself has made a difference. It is time however, to interface mutually supportive technology that will facilitate greater effectiveness and a safer environment on scene, and FieldSoft will be the one to do it thanks to more staff and larger work spaces."
