Command Software Runs On A Mac
(CHANDLER, AZ - April 9, 1999) - Officials of Chandler, AZ based FieldSoft, Inc., today announced that customer testing confirmed that its' FDonScene command software operates properly when run on an Apple Macintosh G3 PowerBook computer. Operation on the mentioned platform is made possible by use of the Virtual PC 2.1 product by Connectix.
FieldSoft applications are used by incident commanders to manage people, resources, and events while on the scene of an emergency. The software automates most – if not all -- incident management functions formerly handled with pen and paper based worksheets, checklists or marker boards. FDonScene is the fire service version of the FieldSoft product line, and effective use of it requires only a single finger. No typing is required to quickly and easily use the software on the scene of an incident.

The recent success at running our software on a G3 PowerBook however, means FieldSoft can now support those agencies that have selected Apple computers as their platform of choice."
