(CHANDLER, AZ – January 26, 2000) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that the Tempe, AZ Police Department is the first agency to purchase AIMSonScene incident management system (IMS) software.

The multi-user AIMSonScene product is based upon the quick and simple graphic interface pioneered in FieldSofts' FDonScene and PDonScene software. AIMSonScene facilitates information sharing for more timely and effective decision making. The product also supports post emergency recovery and critique activities by way of the automated report log feature. The report feature documents every event initiated or managed through the software, and generates a chronological log of events and actions by time and date. The most unique aspect of the product design is that few -- if any -- of the report entries need to be keyboard entered.

The purchase follows a PDonScene order placed in late 1998. The Tempe SWAT team field-tested and proved the software following the purchase. Moreover, PDonScene was used during the 1998 and 1999 New Years Eve block parties hosted by Tempe; and the 1999 and 2000 Fiesta Bowl football games.

System specifications call for it to operate on a wired or wireless network environment with-in  field based command posts or emergency operations centers (EOC's).
