FDonScene Selected For Use At Two U.S. Army Bases

(CHANDLER, AZ – July 27, 2000) - FieldSoft, Inc. announced today that FDonScene incident command system (ICS) software has been selected for use by U.S. Army fire and rescue services tasked with protecting resources at Fort McPherson, GA. and Fort Gillem, GA.

Two site licenses were selected, one for each facility. "The selection of site licenses means that the Directorate of Public Safety will be able to load and use our software on any -- or all -- Fire and Rescue Service computers", stated FieldSoft spokesperson Mark Bouchard. "Additionally, ready software availability means that responders other than the incident commander, should be able to utilize the responder accountability and pre-plan information features built in to the program", Bouchard added.

Fort McPherson, located with-in the corporate boundaries of Atlanta, GA., is a Forces Command installation with headquarters (HQ) for 3rd Army and the U.S. Army Reserve Command. Fort Gillem, near College Park, GA., is an AFEES Distribution Center and 1st Army Command and Control HQ.

FDonScene program features facilitate the fast, simple, and easy management of people, other resources, and events. The user interface, designed by and for emergency responders, is based upon the manual workflow and manual processes now used by on scene managers. The end result is the first -- and only -- computer program feasible for use on the scene by emergency responders, reducing or eliminating the need for dedicated computer operators. Moreover, FDonScene is the only automated incident command product compatible with any ICS system in the world today.

Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem are the first U.S. Army customers to select FDonScene. Other FieldSoft customers in Georgia include the Fulton County Fire Department and the Georgia Fire Academy.
