Cedar Hill, Texas Fire Department Plans Comprehensive Deployment of FDonScene Command Software
(CHANDLER, AZ – July 10, 2000) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that the Cedar Hill Fire Department has selected FDonScene for use through out the organization.
Cedar Hill Fire Chief Jackie Mayfield plans to install the software on a dozen laptop computers carried in apparatus and command vehicles. Cedar Hill fire will also install FDonScene on a half-dozen desktop computers in fire stations for training purposes. "The Cedar Hill plan illustrates that FDonScene is much more than a narrow incident command software program used only by the incident commander" stated FieldSoft founder Mark Bouchard. "FDonScene's pre-plan, responder accountability, and map browser features make the product something that can -- and should -- be used by other fire officers on the scene," Bouchard added.
Cedar Hill Fire Department is located 25 minutes Southwest of Dallas, Texas. The population served is estimated at 30,000 persons.
