MCSO Selects PDonScene Command Software
(CHANDLER, AZ – September 15, 2000) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that the SWAT Division of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), Arizona, selected PDonScene incident management software.
Maricopa County is comprised of an area of 9200 square miles, and has a population in excess of 2.7 million people. The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement, jail, search and rescue, as well as other related services. The MCSO SWAT Division provides tactical, explosive ordinance disposal, and specialized canine services throughout the County. Moreover, the SWAT Division responds to critical incidents that occur with-in the 4th largest jail system (seven jails and 1200 prisoners) with-in the United States.
PDonScene is fast, simple, and easy to use software. The product is designed to help strategic and tactical command staff manage people, other resources, and events on the scene. The graphic user interface -- designed especially for use in the field -- eliminates the need for keyboard entry of data. Moreover, the interface lays out incident related information in a way that directly supports real time decision making.
PDonScene customers with-in Arizona include the Chandler, Gilbert, and Tempe Police Departments; as well as the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
