Portable Computer Systems Inc. Appointed Incident Management System Software Reseller
(CHANDLER, AZ - January 5, 2000) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that Portable Computer systems, Inc. (PCS) has been appointed a reseller of FDonScene and PDonScene software.
The incident management, responder accountability, and preincident planning software products are used by the command team to manage people, resources, and events while on the scene of an emergency. The software automates most incident management functions and thereby directly contributes to the reduction of personal and community losses, while simultaneously facilitating responder safety and survival.
PCS of Littleton, Colorado is the most successful reseller of Panasonic Toughbook computers to public safety agencies in the United States. According to FieldSoft spokesperson Mark Bouchard, "PCS was selected because of its proven track record at meeting the unique needs of fire and police departments. Moreover, their physical presence in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and other states means that customers will be able to personally experience the benefits of proven incident management software running on ruggedized computer hardware".
