FDonScene and PDonScene Written Up in Fire-Rescue and S.W.A.T. Magazines Respectively

(CHANDLER, AZ – December 19, 2000) -  FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that comprehensive write-ups for FDonScene and PDonScene software applications appeared in December issues of two public safety magazines. Moreover, PDonScene will be covered in an up coming issue of another magazine.

A review of FDonScene incident command, responder accountability, and pre-plan browser software titled "Innovations 2000" is contained with-in the December, 2000 issue of Fire Rescue Magazine (http://www.jems.com/firerescue/). FDonScene is the first of several products described by article author Don Harkins in Fire Rescue's "annual examination of exemplary practices and products utilized by departments around the country".

Detailed information regarding PDonScene incident command software for law enforcement is presented in the December, 2000 issue of S.W.A.T. Magazine, where it is the subject of the two page S.W.A.T. Tech column written monthly by Eugene Neilson.

The articles mentioned above are not the first independent reviews of the software. Tim Dees presented a comprehensive review of PDonScene in his July,1998 Download column, published each month in Law and Order Magazine (http://www.hendonpub.com/). One year later the U.S.A.F. Operational Test and Evaluation Center released an FDonScene "Operational Utility Evaluation Report". The Report presented comprehensive findings regarding the "suitability" of FDonScene during "real world emergency responses and operationally realistic training scenarios emulating emergency medical services (EMS), aircraft emergencies, and structural emergency responses".

Note that additional PDonScene information is scheduled for an upcoming issue (possibly January, 2001) of Law and Order Magazine.
