Live Demonstrations of FDonScene and PDonScene Software Scheduled for Salt Lake City and Quantico
(CHANDLER, AZ – April 13, 2001) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that live demonstrations of PDonScene and FDonScene incident command, responder accountability, and preplan browser software are scheduled in April and May. The software can be seen April 25, 2001 during the "Panasonic Public Safety Technology Review and Toughbook Users' Appreciation Day" in Salt Lake City, UT. FieldSoft products can also be viewed May 8th through May 10th at Marine Corps Air Field Quantico, VA during the Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED).
The Panasonic event is intended to showcase current and planned products. Lt. Phil Bates (West Jordan PD) will speak on "Where We've Been and Where We Could Go with Mobile Computing Applications in Utah's Public Safety Agencies". Moreover, Panasonic will conduct a drawing to give away a Toughbook computer and other Panasonic brand electronic devices.
FPED purpose is to showcase state-of-the-art commercial off-the-shelf force protection equipment to senior DoD decision makers and federal, state, and local government leaders. The event is sponsored by DoD Joint Staff (JS), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense For Acquisition and Technology (OUSD A&T), the Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate (JNLWD), the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), and the Department of Energy (DoE). The exhibit is open to federal department and agency personnel, state and local law enforcement, and corrections agencies.
