FDonScene Software And Toughbook Computers Are Becoming Popular Choices

(CHANDLER, AZ – January 5, 2001) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that the Washington Township Fire Department and the Symmes Township Division of Fire have both selected FDonScene software and Panasonic Toughbook 27 computers.

FDonScene (http://www.fieldsoft.com) for the fire service is the faster, simpler, and easier alternative to hand written tactical worksheets or marker boards. Panasonic Toughbook computers (http://www.panasonic.com/toughbook) are the leading choice of public safety professionals who desire a true ruggedized computer that can be used in or out of the emergency response vehicle. FDonScene software and Toughbook computers -- used individually or in combination -- facilitate simpler and more reliable incident command, responder accountability, and pre-plan retrieval activities on the scene.

The Symmes Township and Washington Township fire forces are located in the metropolitan Cincinnati area. Both selected the FDonScene and Toughbook combination following a live demonstration of the products, that was hosted by Fire Chief Robert Weitzel of the Green Township Fire Department -- another FDonScene customer by the way --earlier this year.

Other FieldSoft customers have also selected Panasonic Toughbook computers. A sample of such customers include the Lebanon, OH. Fire Department; Kettering, OH. Fire Department; Luke A.F.B. AZ, Fire Department; Lubbock, TX. Fire Department; Brownsburg, IN. Fire Territory; Alexandria, VA. Fire Department, Bedford Township #2, MI. Volunteer Fire Department; Central Jackson, MO. Fire Protection District; Gila River, AZ Indian Community Fire Department; Globe, AZ. Fire Department; Plainfield, IN. Fire Department; Phoenix, AZ. Fire Department; Fulton County, GA. Fire Department; and the Cedar Hill, TX. Fire Department to name just a few.
