FDonScene And PDonScene Replaced With New Version Of AIMSonScene Software

(CHANDLER, AZ – June 1, 2005) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that FDonScene and PDonScene incident management system software products have been replaced with AIMSonScene SU (single user) software. The new software combines the best of both FDonScene and PDonScene. Moreover, the new software contains a revised “Persons, Property and Vehicles” capability due to the addition of a database (DB) backend and the related enhancement of the user interface.

FieldSoft customers with a current software support and software enhancement (SSSE) subscription will be migrated to AIMSonScene SU via Internet download, starting on or about July 1, 2005.

The transition from legacy applications means that departments interested in ICS software can choose from three AIMSonScene product tiers to best meet their in the field needs. Agencies for example, can choose the top tier AIMSonScene MU (multi-user) software bundle if they wish to create incident workgroups where any member can view any other workgroup members’ incident data as well as exchange messages and assignments, within a Ethernet based LAN or WAN workgroup. Alternatively, agencies may choose FieldSoft’s middle tier AIMSonScene P2P (peer-to-peer) product to pass individual resources and divisions or groups to another P2P user via a wired or 802.11 wireless local subnet. Last, but by no means least, the new basic tier AIMSonScene SU software makes it possible to simply, easily, and effectively manage people, other resources and events with one or more stand alone software products being used cooperatively on the incident scene.

“The software consolidation was called for”, according to company President Mark Bouchard, “because more and more law enforcement agencies have adopted the fire service originated incident command system (ICS), and public safety agencies in general have been practicing unified command procedures to better work together on the scene. In addition, U.S. Office of Homeland Security emphasis on a single ICS system for all first responders indicated that consolidated “all risks” ICS software was needed.”

About FieldSoft, Inc. FieldSoft provides integrated incident management system software. The AIMSonScene product line includes single user, peer-to-peer, and multi-user software versions; as well as optional interfaces that “connect” AIMSonScene to CAD and accountability systems such as the Grace TPASS III system.
