FieldSoft Develops AIMSonScene Interface To TeleStaff Scheduling Software

(CHANDLER, AZ – November 2, 2011) - FieldSoft, Inc., announced today that it has developed an automated application to automatically convert TeleStaff roster data for use within AIMSonScene incident command system (ICS) software.

FieldSoft’s Automatic Crew Update Service (ACUS) is a Microsoft Windows Service installed on mobile computers running AIMSonScene software. ACUS monitors a folder on the PC, reads TeleStaff roster data upon file delivery to the folder, and converts the data for immediate use within AIMSonScene. “The conversion of roster data eliminates the need for manual entry of crewmember data into AIMSonScene”, stated FieldSoft founder Mark Bouchard. He added that “the new capability increases the usefulness of personnel accountability features built into the software while decreasing, yet again, the overall software workload required.”

TeleStaff is a scheduling and communication system for the public safety and corrections fields. AIMSonScene software is used by incident command staff to manage people, other resources and events on incident scenes. ACUS makes possible automatic and near real time use of TeleStaff roster data within AIMSonScene. The pre-release version of the software is currently undergoing a field test with an Illinois fire protection district.
